Gallery 54 opens Wednesday!

The First Unitarian Universalist Gallery opens this coming Wednesday evening! I’ll have the watercolors shown above on exhibit. The first three will be framed and hug on the walls. The fourth one will be in a portfolio bin with more of my pieces. I’ll also have several cloth flip dolls and a blue dragon available for purchase. A third of each sale goes toward the church. Photos of the dolls can be seen on our facebook page, Dan Springs Collection.

For detail on each of the above pieces from my visit to Ireland last year, visit my personal blog at cathytyler.wordpress.com.

If you’ve attended this show in one of the previous 53 years, you know already that it’s an excellent venue with high quality art of all types tastefully displayed. If you haven’t been, you need to go! Hope to see you there!

Summer Art Exhibits!

Spring and Summer art exhibits are up! I have work in three of them – see the calendar tab for dates and details: Bon Artists Association at St. Giles Presbyterian Church and Capital One; and Virginia Plein Air Painters at Glen Allen Cultural Center.

The show at Glen Allen, ‘In Open Air’, is all work done outdoors! I’ve been painting with this group for several years and finally have a couple of pieces worth framing. (see photos above!). First one was done at Robius Landing, and the second at Huguenot Flatwater, both Richmond locations. The opening for the show is this coming Thursday, May 16th, 6-8 pm, free to attend – come on out!
