First markets of the season went smoothly yesterday. Despite chill temperatures, South of the James was very busy, and my first time participating in the Midlothian Mines Market was pleasant. Esteemed associated Julia helped me all morning, and dropped by MMM in the afternoon with grandkidling Lily. The highlight of Lily’s market visit was the lambs and baby chicks at one of the booths! In the morning, we had one young girl who dug deep in her money bag for two dollars for a jar of buttons – we had to take a photo!
